What’s been happening:

As a College of Liberal Arts graduate of 1970 I still have contact with several of my former housemates from "The Shelter" (PSU's first college-affiliated, off-campus co-ed housing experiment). Although we haven't gathered since a 1996 reunion in State College I'll take this space to give a BIG "Shout-out" to all of you. "The Shelter" experience, the "red armband" protests at Old Main, the short-lived "Garfield-Thomas Water Tunnel" alternative campus newspaper, performing at the Jawbone coffee house, profs. Atwater, Aspaturian, Spielvogel, Flay, and Stebbins et al, the Guy Rindone (disciplinary)Commission (and many and sundry others) are all memories and associations that keep me contributing, at least financially, to PSU and the College of Liberal Arts. I can only hope that the students who have followed hold memories as vivid and meaningful as mine. Hail to the lion.
